Best thing we did:

We loved finishing the day with seeing Old Faithful!

We took the entire day to drive through the Grand Loop. Each stop was beautiful and unique in its own way. Make sure to check out the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Mammoth Springs, Norris Geyser Basin, Artist Paint Pots, Midway Geyser Basin, and more.

We loved finishing the day with seeing Old Faithful! It’s pretty incredible that it goes off about every 90 minutes (on average). The famous geyser currently erupts around 17 times a day and can be predicted with a 90 percent confidence rate within a 10 minute variation.

Activities: 1) If you go through Yellowstone in a day, then follow the maps for each stop along the Grand Loop 2) Beautiful stops along the way to get out and have a family picnic

Traveler Tip: Pack your own food for snacks and meals for picnics along the way. It’s the first National Park, therefore, it has a lot of publicity and there will be lots of people! That being said, it’s such a big park and very spread out, so likely you won’t have to deal with much of the crowd at each stop.

Takeaway: Weirdest and coolest things to see that you can’t imagine exist until you visit! Geysers are so cool!
