Grand Teton National Park

Location:

Wyoming (just outside Jackson Hole)

Lodging:

Jackson Lake Lodge in the Park

Best thing we did:

Hike to Inspiration Point

You begin at Jenny Lake trailhead. You board a boat and go across Jenny Lake and then get off at the dock and start your hike to Inspiration Point. It’s the most beautiful hike I’ve ever been on. The snow on the mountains melts in the summer and creates incredible waterfalls along your whole hike.

We absolutely loved staying in the Park at the Lodge and having the big picture window of the whole mountain range in view from our room and back patio. The Lodge has a few restaurants, horse riding stables, cowboy dinners and rides, etc. Our family loved the Pioneer Grill, which is similar to a family diner.
Activities: 1) Float down the Snake River in a raft. 2) Hike! Talk to the Park Ranger and they will give you ideas for which trails are best for you and your family and your ability. 3) Take a day and go to Yellowstone National Park. It’s only about 30-45 minutes from Grand Teton! 4) Go fishing and/or kayaking on Jackson Lake.
Traveler Tip: Stay in the Park for lodging if possible. It’s breathtaking! Also, take bear spray if you plan to go on hikes in the deeper woods of the Tetons.

Takeaway: My all-time current favorite National Park. It’s magical! Once again, God outdid Himself.

From Tiffany

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands.
Psalm 19:1 CSB
The depths of the earth are in His hand, and the mountain peaks are His.
Psalm 95:4 CSB
The sea is His; He made it. His hands formed the dry land.
Psalm 95:5 CSB
From the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what He has made. As a result, people are without excuse.
Romans 1:20 CSB
How countless are Your works, Lord! In wisdom You have made them all; the earth is full of Your creatures. Here is the sea, vast and wide, teeming with creatures beyond number- living things both large and small.
Psalm 104:24-25 CSB
Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea and all that fills it resound. Let the fields and everything in them exult. Then all the trees of the forest will shout for joy.
Psalm 96:11-12 CSB
All things were created through Him, and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created.
John 1:3 CSB
But ask the animals, and they will instruct you; [ask] the birds of the sky, and they will tell you. Or speak to the earth, and it will instruct you; let the fish of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? The life of every living thing is in His hand, as well as the breath of all mankind.
Job 12:7-10 CSB
